List of things you need to pack for Dayara Bugyal Trek.

Trek Essentials

  • An identity card (Driving License, Voters ID Card, etc.) MANDATORY
  • Up to 40-50 ltr Backpack,
  • Trekking Shoes OR ankle length shoes with good grip. (Quechua, Merrell, Salomon & Woodland are recommended brands)
  • LED Torch / Headlamp with extra set of cells.
  •  Track pants / Cotton pants / Cargos. Denims aren’t recommended for treks.
  • 2 full sleeves warm t-shirts.
  • Full sleeves fleece t-shirts or sweater.
  • 1 full sleeves Jacket (Windproof / down-filled).
  • 1 pair of thermal inners (optional).
  • 3 pair of socks.
  •  Woollen cap or Balaclava that covers the ear.
  • Wind cheater OR a light rain coat OR Poncho.
  •  Gloves.
  • 1 Water Bottle (1ltr).
  • Sunglasses.
  • Sun cap.
  • Light towel.
  • Lip balm.
  • Cold cream & sun screen lotion.
  • Personal toilet kit and toilet paper.
  • Camera, memory-cards, batteries. Electricity is not available on the slopes or at the base camp so carry extra batteries if possible)
  • Carry few plastic bags in case your clothes get wet.
  • Slippers/sports sandals.
  • Carry dry fruits combinations as snacks during trekking.

Personal Medicine Kit

  • Crocin – 6 tablets
  • Vomistop – 4 tablets
  • Combiflam – 4 tablets
  • Disprin – 6 tablets
  •  Band aid – 10 strips
  • Digene – 6 tablets
  •  Cotton – 1 small roll
  • ORS – 2-3 packets
  • Betadine or any antiseptic cream
  • Moov spray
